I repeat this is not a rerun. I'm not getting that old where I post the same story or pictures more than once. Well more than once in the last week anyway. Well ok maybe this is the same story but, dammit, this is getting to be old, fast.
Here is what I walked out to this morning.
My gosh will it ever end? I almost didn't get out of the driveway this morning there was one long drift and it happened to follow the driveway right out to the road.
And the deck, I know it is very big but when you get 8" of snow it gets a lot bigger real quick. I shoveled the damn snow off it twice today.
Then when I came home again at noon I couldn't get into the driveway again. It's a good thing I can park at the car lot next door.
You see that car in the background? The blue one, yep that's mine. That's where I park and then walk across the yard with snow up to my ass.
How about my other car the poor thing.
I think I can hear it calling "help." Hear it? It's faint but I'm sure I hear it.
It's beyond hope anymore I just can't keep up. And I know it's only the first of December even though it looks like the end of January.
Doesn't that look like a beautiful snowy day? Yeah right. You can have it. I think I might move somewhere warm. Any ideas?
Give me a friggin break.

Sanibel Island. BTW -- I think we've gotten 8 so far today. Doubt the punk will have school tomorrow either.
No schools open here today either not even colleges.
Good old CMU is about the only school in the area that's open.
Did anyone hit the link at the bottom and read the poem? It's one of the best I've read in a long time.
I read it...had a lot of substance, good read...
GVSU never cancels.
